I haven’t updated in a while. We got married! We tied the knot on 10-10-10 and I have been struggling to process all of our photos, after being away on honeymoon for nearly 2 weeks! Busy busy, this is my new favorite. I just finished our wedding/honeymoon album, well at least with stuffing in photos. Keepsakes are next.

More than a month ago I got an idea for a painting. I sketched it out a few weeks later, and finally got around to painting it today. It represents me…completely.

The rain cloud symbolizes the clutter and plaguing thoughts that get me down a lot of time.
The ocean stands more or less for the ocean of dribble I’m constantly spewing from my mouth without thinking. Often offending people, but not intentional.
The rainbow that is happiness is unable to escape beyond the ocean which is clogging up the sunshine below that I feel in my heart.
The palm tree and rays symbolize the happiness and the sun of course symbolizes my heart, while the pine tree and snow also attribute to the never ending indecisiveness I constantly feel with EVERYTHING in my life by being the exact opposite of my heart (my mind). The two also represent my favorite "earthly" seasons, the beach and snow

Luigi is sketched and ready for painting. I was going to try and get some done tonight, maybe just an hour… I have one more left to go in this series, plus I decided to repaint Peach.

To my shop they will go, as a debut of my artistic side that is not behind a camera. Eventually, I will put up some originals.

I got commissioned to do a painting for a friend, who wanted my mario.. for his daughter.

Love is about sacrifices. As much as I really wanted to finish and further refine a new product that I started yesterday – I didn’t.

Not being a fan of television, making that choice to watch the season premier of LOST with him, was well worth the 2 hours I lost on my own creativity. <3 <3

The angle of the reflection is bugging the living shit out of me, but this was better than the straight on shot of just the screen.

Today was Luis’ birthday. To celebrate I handmade this card for him.

I even cheaply colored a pin with sharpie so he would have a nice easy way to clip it wherever.

I kind feel like turning this into the 365 days of love project because it’s seemed to take a turn for the worse lately, meaning things I just love and want to share. Perhaps just a passing phase. It’s kinda hard to work 40 hours a week in an office and then try to squeeze in time for photography between the few hours I’m not working, eating, or sleeping. Ah, who’s complaining.

I have tea to pick me up. This is a pot of darjeeling second flush brewing and looking mmm mmm good, just like Campbells . So yes, I love tea. Tea of all flavors, and temperatures, but mostly that of the non sweetened variety. What’s missing? A little cream.. but that comes afterwards.
